The creators of American Vandal have lined up their subsequent collection.
Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault have scored a collection order for Gamers, a comedy set on this planet of esports, at ViacomCBS’ streaming platform Paramount+. Like American Vandal, the brand new collection will probably be filmed in documentary type, and it’ll comply with a fictional League of Legends staff making an attempt to win a championship.
CBS Studios and Humorous or Die, which teamed on American Vandal, will produce Gamers as effectively. League of Legends maker Riot Video games can be concerned.
Gamers will concentrate on a LoL staff that’s trying to win its first championship after years of shut calls and heartaches. In an effort to make it to the highest, they’ll want their prodigy, a 17-year-old rookie, and their 27-year-old veteran to place apart their egos and work collectively.
Yacenda and Perrault will government produce the collection with Joe Farrell and Mike Farah of Humorous or Die, Tim McAuliffe, Riot Video games, 3Arts’ Ari Lubet and Brillstein Leisure Companions’ Todd Sellers.
Gamers joins a roster of authentic comedies at Paramount+ that features the revival of Nickelodeon favourite iCarly, No Exercise, For Heaven’s Sake, Why Ladies Kill and animated collection Star Trek: Decrease Decks, Tooning Out the Information and The Harper Home.
