Cinema tech developer GDC Expertise has launched a brand new mini-theater idea for small auditoriums and boutique cinemas for personal screenings this week at theater homeowners confab CinemaCon, going down at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
With the introduction, GDC additionally enters the projector market with a compact DCI-compliant Espedeo Supra-5000 RGB Plus laser phosphor cinema projector from Espedeo Holdings, a GDC firm, and DLP Cinema chip maker Texas Devices.
GDC is pairing the Espedeo Supra-5000 with the Espedeo PM- 2000B polarized 3D system and seven.1 encompass sound, pushed by GoGo Cinema, its on-demand cinema platform and web-based reserving app that’s slated for launch within the U.S. this fall.
